Electricity

All lesson plans, slides and handouts were created with my class in mind and is based around the most up to date Ontario Curriculum documents.

Slides were presented to students in each lesson. The slides include new concepts in written and visual formats and links to simulations and videos. 

Handouts were provided to students in each lesson. Students follow the slides and fill in the blanks in the handouts throughout the lesson. Worksheets and lab activities are also included in this folder.

Make an Electrical Device

In this task, students will follow some of the engineering design process steps by making electrical devices. The engineering design challenge is to design an electrical device with a specific function, such as displaying pictures, playing sounds, counting, etc. Using Micro:bit, students will be combining coding and what they've learned about circuits to make the electrical devices work.
